  I graduated from this place around about five years ago, and it's a good enough school if you don't mind being in middle school for six (now seven) years. In my time the AP program had a very elitist "if you're not taking five AP classes you're stupid" kind of vibe, and there was a very strong division between the college-bound honors-and-three-sport-athlete kids and the rest of the student body, but maybe that's changed. In any case, there's a certain kind of kid that succeeds here, and from my experience those kids peak there. A good education is possible, you just have to advocate for yourself and get in good with your academic counselor.
